#ColorforChange is a collaboration between artist, Jen Dohner, TV Executive, Susan Moore and attorney, Nina Tarnay. Heartbroken and outraged by yet another mass school shooting, this time in Uvalde, Texas, the trio sprung into action, brainstorming ways to help effect change. Seeing their kids and themselves in the stories that emerge time and time again, from Columbine, to Sandy Hook, to Red Lake, and now Uvalde, they're determined to work for change. They're working to overcome the sense of voicelessness and hopelessness that follows every mass shooting and our federal government's subsequent failure to pass any meaningful gun legislation to prevent another mass shooting.

Since the Columbine shooting, Jen, Susan and Nina have donated, marched and contacted their representatives to press for change, but virtually nothing has been done. They know the parents and students of this country want meaningful gun safety legislation, so they created #ColorforChange, a back-to-basics approach to citizen advocacy. With the help of their children, they hope to mobilize every parent and child in America to personalize the free downloadable postcard on this site and mail it to their representatives, demanding the adoption of sensible gun laws. Our children are most impacted by gun violence--their voices matter! Death should not be an occupational hazard of attending schools. Mass shootings SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED. We hope to help our children raise our voices loud enough so there is no doubt to whom our representatives should be listening. #ColorforChange with us!
