ASK SENATORS TO PASS GUN SAFETY LEGISLATION

STEP 1: Print the front and back of the postcard onto cardstock using a no-margins setting on your printer and cut them out.

STEP 2: Personalize your cards. Be creative! Boldly color, add sparkles and bedazzle. Make them your own.

STEP 3: Write a personal message on each to the politician of your choice. Ask them to pass sensible gun legislation. Sign your card with your first name, age and the state you live in

Example: Dear Mr. Senator, 

I am five years old. School should be a safe place for me to learn and grow. I am scared to go to school. Please vote for gun laws that will keep me safe!

 

(Add one or more or all of the following)

Do better background checks.

Use red flags to help you.

Don't sell guns to young people.

Don't give regular citizens weapons of war.

 

Please protect me and my friends.

STEP 4: Address your postcard to the politician of your choice (download the list below to get a list of your state politicians). 

STEP 5: Add postcard postage & drop your card into the mail ASAP.

STEP 6: Ask friends and family members to join you. You can even get together to have a postcard party. Share your action on social media with the hashtag: #ColorForChange.
